Books often have a profound and lasting effect on children. Many celebrities have shared their favorite books from childhood on the website, “What Got You Hooked,” at http://www2.firstbook.org/whatbook/favorites.php. Why not go to the site and see if your favorite childhood book is represented? Then reply to this post and tell us about the book(s) that you read as a child that spurred an interest in reading.
